Returns and Refunds Policy

How to cancel an order, return a product, or get a refund if something is wrong. Last updated 26 August 2026.

We want you to be pleased with your Snow Leopard Gin order. This policy explains how to cancel an online purchase, return a product, or obtain a remedy if something is wrong. It forms part of our Terms of Sale.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

1. Changing your mind

For most products bought online, you have 14 days to tell us that you wish to cancel, starting on the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the products. If one order arrives in separate deliveries, the period starts on the day after the final delivery.

You do not need to give a reason. To cancel, send us a clear statement before the cancellation period ends:

Please include your name, order number, delivery address, the product being cancelled and, if possible, your telephone number. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to.

2. When the change-of-mind right does not apply

The statutory cancellation right does not apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

You may inspect a product as you reasonably would in a shop. If you handle it more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce your refund to reflect the resulting loss in value. Opening the bottle or consuming any of its contents is likely to reduce its value substantially and may reduce the product refund to zero.

These limits do not apply where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly supplied.

3. Returning a change-of-mind order

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must send the products back within 14 days to:

Leopard Gins Limited, 11–12 Church Street, Christchurch, BH23 1BW

Where possible, contact us before returning the products so that we can provide safe packing instructions and any returns reference. This is not a condition of cancellation and does not extend or limit your right to send the products back within 14 days after telling us that you wish to cancel.

You must take reasonable care of the products and package them securely. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning a change-of-mind order, unless we agree otherwise or failed to tell you before the contract was made that you would bear that cost.

Because carriers may restrict alcohol in their networks, check the carrier's conditions before sending it. Contact us if you need help identifying a suitable return service.

4. Change-of-mind refunds

When you cancel the whole order, we will refund:

  • the price paid for the returned products, subject to any lawful deduction for loss in value caused by excessive handling; and
  • the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, even if you selected a more expensive service.

We do not refund the additional cost of premium or express delivery above our standard delivery charge. If you cancel only part of an order, we will refund any delivery charge only to the extent required by law or where the charge would have been lower without the returned item.

We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the earliest of:

  • the day we receive the products back; or
  • the day you provide evidence that you sent them back.

If no products were supplied, we will refund you within 14 days after you tell us that you wish to cancel.

Refunds are made to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a refund fee.

5. Faulty, damaged, not-as-described or incorrect products

Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have legal remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You may have a short-term right to reject a non-conforming product within 30 days of receiving it and obtain a refund. After that period, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement and, where the law permits, a price reduction or final right to reject. Different time limits and rules may apply depending on the circumstances. Your rights can continue after the periods described here.

Contact enquiries@leopardgins.co.uk promptly and include:

  • your name and order number;
  • a description of the problem; and
  • photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label, where reasonably possible.

Do not dispose of a damaged or faulty product or its packaging until we confirm that it is no longer needed. We may ask you to return it or make it available for collection. We will pay reasonable return costs where a product does not conform to the contract.

Where you validly exercise the short-term right to reject, we will provide a refund without undue delay and within 14 days after agreeing that you are entitled to it. The refund will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and no refund fee will be charged.

6. Breakages and leakage

If a bottle arrives broken, leaking or otherwise damaged, do not consume it. Keep people and animals away from broken glass and handle the parcel only if it is safe to do so. Contact us promptly using the details above.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may be a replacement or refund depending on your rights, your preference where the law gives you a choice, and stock availability. A limited-edition replacement may not always be available; this does not reduce any right you have to a refund.

7. Gifts

Refunds are normally issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method. If you received the product as a gift, contact us and we will explain the options available without disclosing the purchaser's personal information.
