Terms of Sale
The terms that apply when you buy from the Snow Leopard Gin online shop, including how a contract is formed and your rights as a consumer. Last updated 26 August 2026.
These terms apply when you buy products from the Snow Leopard Gin online shop at leopardgins.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order. They explain who we are, how a contract is formed, and the rights and responsibilities that apply to your purchase.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under consumer law.

2. Who may place an order
You may only order alcohol from us if:
- you are aged 18 or over;
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
- you are buying as a consumer for private, non-commercial use; and
- the person accepting the delivery is also aged 18 or over and can provide acceptable proof of age if asked.
By placing an order, you confirm that these conditions are met. It is an offence to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol on behalf of a person under 18. We may cancel an order or refuse delivery where we reasonably believe an age requirement has not been met.
Trade customers should contact us separately. These terms do not apply to wholesale or other business purchases.
3. Products
We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Packaging, labels, presentation and colour may vary slightly from images shown on screen. Product availability and production quantities may be limited.
The product page will state the bottle volume, alcoholic strength and other principal product information. Please contact us before ordering if you have a question about ingredients, allergens or suitability. Product information on the website is not medical advice.
4. Placing an order and formation of the contract
Our checkout is provided by Ecwid. You can review and correct your order before submitting it. Please check the products, quantities, delivery address and contact details carefully.
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the products in your basket. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order; it does not mean that we have accepted it. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly say otherwise in writing.
If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and will not charge you, or will refund any amount already paid. We may decline an order because, for example:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we cannot deliver to the address supplied;
- an age-verification check is not passed;
- an obvious error affects the price or description; or
- we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful resale or another unlawful activity.
We may limit the quantity available to any person, household or order where this is reasonable, including for a limited-edition product.
5. Prices and payment
The price payable is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Prices are in pounds sterling and include all taxes currently applicable to the sale. Leopard Gins Limited is not currently registered for VAT and does not charge VAT. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are shown separately before you submit the order.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may reject the order and refund any payment made. If the error could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake, we are not required to supply the product at the incorrect price.
Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout by Ecwid and its payment partners. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
6. Delivery
Our Delivery Policy forms part of these terms. We deliver only within the United Kingdom using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature and Age Verification. Delivery costs £6 per order, including Age Verification. Estimated times and any postcode-specific limitations are explained in the Delivery Policy and shown at checkout.
Any delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree that it is essential. If no delivery period is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made.
We are responsible for the products until they are delivered into the physical possession of you, or a person you identify to receive them. If you nominate a carrier that we did not offer, risk passes to you when we hand the products to that carrier.
Alcohol will not be left unattended or in a nominated safe place. Delivery may be refused if no adult is available or satisfactory proof of age is not produced when requested. Royal Mail redelivery is free, but reasonable direct costs may be deducted if the parcel is returned to us and must be sent again, as explained in the Delivery Policy.
7. Ownership
You own the products once we have received payment in full and the products have been delivered, whichever happens later.
8. Your right to cancel
For most online purchases, you have a legal right to change your mind. You normally have 14 days from the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the products to tell us that you wish to cancel.
If one order is delivered in separate instalments, the cancellation period runs from the day after the final instalment is received.
Your cancellation right may not apply to products that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised. You may handle products only as you would reasonably be allowed to in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the products' nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value. Opening or consuming alcohol is likely to reduce its value substantially and may reduce the product refund to zero.
The procedure, return-cost rules and model cancellation form are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
We must supply products that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or incorrectly supplied, you have legal remedies. These may include a repair or replacement, a price reduction, or the right to reject the product and receive a refund.
Please follow our Returns and Refunds Policy. We will pay reasonable return costs where a product does not conform to the contract. Your legal rights are not affected by any separate returns procedure.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. A loss is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen or if, when the contract was made, both you and we knew it might happen.
We supply products only for private use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, data or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. If there is a substantial delay, you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for products paid for but not received.
12. Personal information
We use personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy, including to process orders, take payment, arrange age-verified delivery, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
13. Complaints
Please email enquiries@leopardgins.co.uk with your order number and a clear description of the issue. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it fairly and promptly.
14. Other important terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under the contract to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights. You may transfer your rights only with our written agreement, except that you may transfer a guarantee where the law permits.
The contract is between you and us. No other person has a right to enforce it. If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the remaining parts continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
15. Governing law and courts
These terms and the contract are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland. You retain any mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country in which you live.
